NEC is celebrating the run-up
to the Christmas holidays with an offer to get any schools looking
for a new projector in the festive spirit. Until 31st December,
they're offering a free wide zoom lens with any model from the NEC
PA projector range.
The NEC PA Series projectors don't normally come with a lens included, so getting the NP13ZL lens free will net the school a saving of around £300! They'll also save you money in the long run too, with a long lamp life of an estimated 4000 hours. Even if you use it during school hours all day, everyday, that's over three years of continuous use. But just so you never get caught halfway through a class presentation, the projector will even email the school administrator when it's nearly time to replace the lamp.
With up to 6000 lumens (the measure of total light emitted by the projector), the PA series are incredibly bright. This means you can keep the lights on in the classroom for students to make notes during presentations, while the the high image quality of the LCD projectors can still be made out clearly.
Other features that benefit teaching include the Windows Remote
Desktop function that lets you control the projector with a
keyboard and mouse through the USB input. To ensure only staff or
other selected groups can use the projector, it can also be
physically locked down with a cabinet control lock, and further
secured with a password.
