The Team

  • Suzie Bull
Suzie is committed to bringing creativity to the classroom. She is involved with organising events, visiting schools and talking to teachers about using technology to transform education. She is passionate about helping people achieve their goals and has recently conquered Mount Kilimanjaro – ‘summit’ to be very proud of! Her interests include travelling, bullet points, high heels, crumpets and keeping the education team entertained with her crazy sneezing and ‘angelic’ singing.
  • Jen Halpin
Jen joined Jigsaw at the start of 2010 and specialises in providing licensing solutions to education. She has several years’ industry experience and recently returned from a ‘short’ break, during which she travelled the world in 6 months. Her favourite places included Thailand’s beautiful beaches (where she became a qualified PADI advanced scuba-diver – although technically she did that in the ocean), New Zealand, Fiji and New York. Now that she’s back in the UK, the Education team get to laugh at her general acts of clumsiness; no one quite understands how she made it home!
  • Rob Williams
Rob came to Jigsaw from the music industry, where he developed a passion for technology (and strong coffee) while working as a recording engineer and producer. He moved over to us when he realised the impact that technology could have on learning; now he visits schools and gets to talk to teachers about making technology fun and useful.
  • Jo Eden
Jo joined Jigsaw as an Education Copywriter late in 2008, with great relief that her degree in English Lit would finally be put to good use. Jo loves a good pun (and a bad one), and she can usually be found poring over Jigsaw literature. When she’s not writing articles about creative technology, she goes to lots of comedy gigs, dabbles in her own writing endeavours and sleeps like a hibernating bear (albeit a very small one). One of her notable gifts is the ability to name songs after hearing the first few notes – which comes in handy when Suzie is having a musical moment.
  • Sammy Aindow
Sammy has been at Jigsaw for longer than he can remember, and has had many jobs within the company, always on the technical side. Qualified on the last 4 versions of OS X server, Sammy also holds the highest technical qualification that Apple can bestow, the ACSA. He now shares his time between the education team and the broadcast team, designing solutions for shared storage environments. He has worked with many high profile customers including The National Theatre and JCB. Sammy’s skills are not solely in the Mac environment; he is also involved with email servers, video streaming and Microsoft Windows integration projects. He works with the Education team to design bespoke systems for schools, colleges and universities. Sammy's spare time is spent teaching his toddler how to play with Brio and watching Family Guy, sometimes at the same time.
  • Hannah Williams
Having spent two years in the Jigsaw Marketing department designing and copy-editing catalogues, Hannah's knowledge of all things creative is second to none. Adding to this eight years of design industry experience (two of which were spent working in Further Education), make her a great advocate of creative ICT and the real difference it can make to disengaged students. When not obsessing over the details of kerning and ligatures, Hannah enjoys music, film, travel and tea (milk, one sugar - thank you very much).
  • Anthony Hammond
Anthony first got involved in the world of AV at university, when he spent far too much time putting together sound systems and lighting rigs for events around Leeds. Over the last 3 years, Anthony’s built up our AV department, focusing on equipment and software that makes life easier and lessons more interesting. He spends most of his time planning installations for customers on freezing cold building sites, or talking to teachers about ‘life after SMART Boards’. He recently created and installed an immersive projection room for a special education needs school (with a lot of help from his Jigsaw buddies), which was so successful that it’s now used by the local University whenever it’s available. In his spare time, Anthony is a keen runner, plays in a band called ‘Calculator Face’ and thinks up new names for sandwiches, such as ‘The Oriental Guesthouse’ and ‘The Fowl Mouthed Hamlet’.
  • Jamie Allan
Jamie's role at Jigsaw is primarily in the area of Post Production and dealing with key accounts in the creative markets. His knowledge of the highest level of video, motion graphics and large-scale systems makes him one of our top experts when it comes to translating these systems into FE and HE environments. Jamie matches the technology he suggests for schools and universities with those used in the professional world, so that students can develop the skills potential employers will be looking out for. Jamie is also an excellent cook, has a superb taste in music and is incredibly handsome. He was also allowed to write that last line himself…
  • Ade Leader
Adrian appeared on Jigsaw’s doorstep in the middle of 2009 and joined the team as a Copywriter. His working days are spent covering page-after-page in red pen, having lengthy debates over the positioning of commas, and writing about technology trends in education. When he’s not at his desk whistling along to his favourite tunes, he creates his own video masterpieces using iMovie, fails to appreciate classic films, and ponders the meaning of just about every proverb or idiom he hears.
  • Auntie Simon
Auntie Simon has years of experience solving the most embarassing of ICT problems. While he does prefer to deal with issues of his own devising that are heavy on the double entendre, he will also take submissions from his public. If you have a question about technology email auntiesimon@jigsaw24.com and we'll have our resident expert do his utmost to help you out.
