It’s fair to say that we’ve gone a little Twitter crazy in the office, so when I saw an article saying that social media is doing everything from changing the way we go about political debates to the format that we get news in, I found myself reading more than the blurb (for a change). As well as a nice little piece about Francis Bacon, the article also suggested that sites such as Twitter improve child literacy. It’s a strong claim to make... but just how accurate is it?
